Our Story
A New Chapter
In April 2025, Patrick and Amy Wells purchased The Regatta on Grand with one goal: keep what guests love and make it even better. That meant polishing the details, adding more service, and creating a place people genuinely look forward to coming back to.
The Idea
RV travel should feel relaxing—not complicated. So we kept things intentionally small, focused on comfort, and designed the resort for guests to spend their time outside, unhurried, and together.

The People You'll Meet
Family-Owned and On-Site
The Regatta is hands-on and personal. Patrick and Amy’s daughter is Resort Manager Caitlyn Newman who runs day-to-day operations along with Concierge Marcelline Bailey. They keep everything moving smoothly—with a focus on friendly service and happy guests.
A Team That Gets It
Alongside a dedicated leadership team—including General Manager Austin Bailey and Assistant Manager Brady McAfee—you’ll find restaurant staff who take pride in their work, enjoy being here, and make it easy for you to do the same.

Our team loves welcoming four-legged guests just as much as the two-legged ones. Expect smiles, names remembered, and help when you need it. We welcome all breeds and have entertained pet cats, kangaroos, pigs, and, of course, lots and lots of dogs.
