EXCELLENT Based on 289 reviews Posted on Heidi ZermenoApril 21, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stayed at Regatta on Grand this month, April. We give them 5+ stars! The customer service/concierge was outstanding. Anything you needed, they were there. We had a back-in spot on the lake with our own private patio stocked with padded furniture, a CLEAN grill and wood fire pit. Needless to say, the free 5:00 margaritas everyday were so fun to look forward to… we’d watch for one of the ladies to drive by on their golf carts delivering to each site that wanted the margaritas. The dog park was nice and big and all thick grass. Dinner in their restaurant was delicious; and also, the upstairs Boom sports bar with multiple TVs was killer as we were allowed to have our two labs next to us as we drank our beers and watched the golf tournament. Will most definitely be back.Posted on Kendal GeorgeApril 13, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have traveled all over the US in our RV. This by far is the absolute best RV resort we have been to. Why do you ask? The staff was incredible. From start to finish the employees made us feel special. From the restaurants to the concierge everyone that worked there was phenomenal! We will definitely come back and recommend The Regatta to all of our RV friends. Please thank your amazing staff for us and see you again soon! If I could give 20 stars I would! 🥰Posted on Aunt JennyMarch 15, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Regatta on the Grand RV Resort is truly something special! It’s located right on a peninsula, so you have lake views all around — absolutely stunning from every angle. You can sit at your site all day just soaking in the scenery. Each site has a pergola, a comfy outdoor couch, table and chairs, a wood fire pit (yes, they even provide the firewood!), and a propane BBQ with propane included. The attention to detail here is unmatched. The staff meet and greet you, escort you to your site, help you get parked, and make sure you have everything you need. They really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Trash pickup is provided, and every evening at 5 o’clock, there’s margarita time — always served with smiles and the friendliest attitude! The resort even has two restaurants on-site! The Drift is an upscale restaurant with excellent food and attentive service. The Boom is a lively sports bar with dozens of TVs, comfy seating, and another team of friendly staff. The burgers at The Boom are great! The pizza wasn’t our favorite (a bit too thick and bready for our taste), but that’s probably just us. The sites themselves are beautifully designed — all concrete, perfectly level, and most are long enough to accommodate any size RV. We travel in a 45-foot motorhome with a tow, and parking was effortless. One thing we really appreciated is that, unlike some luxury RV resorts, The Regatta doesn’t restrict the kind of RV you have. Everyone is welcome — from beautiful Newell motorcoaches (and wow, you’ll see a lot of them here, since the Newell plant is only 25 miles away!) to 5th wheels and travel trailers. The only requirement is that your rig should be newer and in great shape — fair enough for such a beautiful resort! Some of the sites are privately owned, and honestly, we caught ourselves daydreaming about how amazing it would be to stay here for a whole season. A couple of sites were even for sale — talk about tempting! When our car broke down and we had to unexpectedly extend our stay, the owners and staff were so understanding and accommodating. Even their “oh, shoot” site (the one they offer when you need an unplanned extended stay) was fantastic — not directly on the lake, but still with lake views, a pergola, outdoor furniture, bar-height table with chairs, and a BBQ grill. Such an amazing site would be a Premium at ANY other lake resort!!! This resort ended up being one of the biggest highlights of our entire coast-to-coast trip. Thank you so much, Caitlyn and Marce, for your kindness, hospitality, and for creating such a wonderful place. We can’t wait to come back and stay with you again!Posted on james brockOctober 21, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
